Kevin Michael Foster is an educational anthropologist and a tenured graduate faculty member at The University of Texas at Austin. He is the founder of ICUSP (The Institute for Community, University and School Partnerships), as well as COBRA and VOICES, which are student programs for young men and women in predominantly low-income middle and high schools in central Texas. His interests include education policy and practice, community engaged scholarship, African American student success, and the use of social and new media to facilitate community/university connections.
